This is a genuine, orginal, numbers correct and date coded 1954 Corvette. Serial no. E54S002026 believed to be among the 26 cars built on April 15, 1954 (according to the
c1registry.com). Purchased in February 1980 from the Slater family in southern California. Body-off restoration by John Briggs of Santa Barbara, who has restored vehicles for a number of vintage racing Chevrolet & Corvette vehicles including Vic Edelbrock, Tom McIntyre and Fred Galloway. Long history of 1st Place and Sweepstakes awards. Among the first third of 1954 production, it includes rare chrome distributor side cover with matching chrome radiator and valve covers.
